On Friday, Councilman Price seconded a resolution authorizing the Department of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) to accept a grant award of $22 million from the state of California’s Local Jurisdiction Assistance Grant Program. DCR will use this grant award to transition businesses from provisional licensure to annual licensure.
DCR has made it a goal to ensure the cannabis licensing and application processes in the City of Los Angeles are accessible, equitable, and as expedient as possible – goals that Councilman Price has been a staunch advocate of. Click here for the resolution.
