This package includes ACA 8 (Rivas - McGuire), SB 280 (Cervantes - Pellerin), and Proposition 50. If enacted, the Act would require the State of California to temporarily implement new congressional district maps for elections held between 2026 and 2030. The legislation is a direct response to recent politically divisive actions by the Texas State government.
