Come celebrate 30 years of the legendary Central Avenue Jazz Festival on Sept. 20, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., along Central Avenue between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Vernon Avenue.
This year’s anniversary will be especially memorable, with performances by Grammy Award–winning vocalist Gregory Porter, Latin jazz icon Poncho Sanchez, and the incomparable Jazzmeia Horn.
For three decades, this FREE festival has been a place where South Central Los Angeles comes together to honor the legacy of Central Avenue, once the heart of West Coast jazz.
Festival-goers can look forward to four themed pavilions, a bustling marketplace, and delicious food.
Parking is limited, so Metro and rideshare are encouraged. More information is available at centralavejazzfest.com.
