Throughout May and June, City Council will continue to hear the Mayor’s proposed budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. As part of this process, the Budget & Finance Committee has been analyzing each City department’s budget requests, keeping in mind the importance of maintaining public safety, repairing our street infrastructure, and providing key City services to the residents of Los Angeles.
