LA City Council unanimously approved the continuation relative to the Mayor’s Declaration of Local Emergency dated Dec. 12, 2022, concerning homelessness in the City of Los Angeles, which was first ratified back on Dec. 13, 2022. All appropriate City departments, agencies, and personnel are instructed and requests to continue to perform all duties and responsibilities to represent the City in the matter to prevent and abate the emergency and receive, process, and coordinate all inquiries and requirements necessary to obtain whatever County, State and Federal assistance may become available to the City and/or to the citizens of the City who may be affected by the emergency.
