On Jan. 29, Team Price joined in the fun by witnessing another historic “Go for Stack” milestone at the California Science Center. Late in the evening, eager spectators were present as the Endeavour shuttle made its final “lift-off” in the future Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center, currently under construction.
This event marked the culmination of the multi-phase process of stacking each space shuttle component in a ready-to-launch configuration. Endeavour will be temporarily off display during the expansion phase, which will add 200,000 square feet, doubling the Science Center’s educational exhibition space.
