As the risk of eviction increases for tenants, and workers face a multitude of issues, ranging from wage theft to discrimination, resolving legal matters in the District 9 community has become more crucial than ever.
Project LEAD 9, a program Councilmember Price developed in collaboration with Bet Tzedek Legal Services, can assist neighbors in addressing a wide range of legal issues for FREE (see flyer here for eligibility requirements). The program has already helped hundreds of local households, and Councilmember Price’s Office has recently extended the contract to continue offering this lifeline.
