The Office of Councilmember Price is teaming up with the Community Investment for Families Department (CIFD) to host a Free Tax Prep LA (FTPLA) event on Feb. 29 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the District 9 Constituent Service Center.
This event aims to provide free tax preparation services to local working families and help them claim federal and state tax credits.
Since the launch of FTPLA, in collaboration with the County of Los Angeles Department of Consumer and Business Affairs, over 87,000 returns have been filed, contributing approximately $86.5 million to Angelenos and the local economy.
