The Los Angeles City Council has approved funding for Eviction Defense Programming for residents facing eviction or other tenant-related legal issues. This funding will be allocated through Measure ULA and will last for 15 months, with options to extend as necessary. If any tenants are struggling with residential defense issues, they will now have access to legal aid and other services that aim to protect and defend renters.
