Team Price is hosting three community events from June 20 to June 22 to celebrate Juneteenth—a historic day marking the end of slavery in Texas and a symbol of ongoing fight for justice.
The weekend kicks off on June 20 at South Park Recreation Center with a tribute to music legend Barry White, featuring an art unveiling, a sock hop dance, and live music from Theo Luv.
On June 21, the third Annual Juneteenth Block Party on Central Avenue offers family-friendly fun with live music, a car show, food trucks and vendor booths.
The celebration concludes on June 22, at South Park Recreation Center with “Community Experience in the Park.” This exciting event will feature a sensational performance by Keke Wyatt, along with lively sets from talented local artists to cap off the festivities. Enjoy free food, beverages, and a variety of community resources throughout the day.
