The countdown is on for the 30th anniversary of the Central Avenue Jazz Festival, and Council District 9 is kicking off the celebration with a special community preview.
On Sept.14, Vermont Square Park will come alive from 2-5 p.m. with an afternoon of music, food, and family fun. The Neighborhood Orchestra and the Top Shelf Brass Band will bring the sounds of Central Avenue straight to the park.
Families can enjoy food from Bootsy BBQ and Fuegos, while kids take part in activities and neighbors connect at community resource booths.
The preview is free, open to everyone, and marks the beginning of an unforgettable 30th anniversary season for the Central Avenue Jazz Festival.
