Councilmember Price introduced a motion to set the minimum wage for tourism workers to $25 an hour. Raising wages for airline workers and hotel workers would positively impact tens of thousands of people in Los Angeles and their families. The motion instructs the Chief Legislative Analyst to report with an analysis of raising the hourly wage to $25 in 2023, and by $1 every year thereafter, to reach $30 an hour by 2028.
