If you have recently passed by the intersection of 88th Street and McKinley Avenue, you may have noticed bulldozers, construction workers, and a hive of activity. Team Price is pleased to announce that the grand opening of Inell Woods Park is just a few short months away.
This upcoming 16,000-square-foot park, named in honor of Inell Woods, a dedicated CD 9 resident who championed the need for more park space and community amenities, is transforming a former street median into green space. The park will feature a walking trail, fitness areas, California-native landscaping, picnic tables, seating areas, and innovative stormwater management solutions.
Councilmember Price secured nearly $2 million for the park's development, which is slated for completion by this fall. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements!
