The Good Food Zone policy, spearheaded by Councilmember Price, is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at expanding access to healthy food, combating food deserts, and boosting economic opportunities for small businesses in historically underserved communities in Los Angeles.
Recently, the Los Angeles Food Policy Council (LAFPC) hosted an orientation for more than a dozen businesses selected to receive $25,000 microgrants and specialized technical support.
