Back-to-school season is here, and District 9 families are invited to join Team Price and the Special Needs Network (SNN) for a fun-filled day at South Park Recreation Center on Aug. 30.
Students will receive free backpacks and school supplies, health screenings and on-site haircuts, among other activities. A resource fair will also feature dozens of partner organizations sharing support and information to help families navigate the school year. Families attending can also receive free food and groceries (first come, first served).
Parking will be available at Dr. Maya Angelou Community Senior High School (412 E. 52nd St., Los Angeles 90011).
