Dear Neighbors,
I'd like to introduce you to Jessica Guerrero, this year's CD 9 Woman of Impact.
Jessica grew up in South Los Angeles and never left the work of serving her community behind. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, she has spent more than 15 years working with youth and families across South LA.
Today, as a Program Coordinator with Soledad Enrichment Action (SEA), she leads prevention efforts through the City’s Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) program—connecting young people with mentorship, leadership development, and opportunities that help them build brighter futures.
Through community resource fairs, peace initiatives, and youth mentorship, Jessica continues to invest in the next generation of South Los Angeles.
It's an honor to recognize Jessica during Women's History Month!
Have a great weekend!
