Dear Neighbors,
We invite you to join us for a special Service Day LA on March 15, that aligns with our celebration of Women’s History Month. This occasion over the weekend honors the remarkable impact of women in service and leadership, highlighting the importance of giving back to our communities.
As part of this effort, my office is proud to partner with two powerhouse women leaders, Mayor Karen Bass and Capri Maddox from the LA Civil Rights Department, as we bring together neighbors from across the district.
We’ll kick off the day at South Park Recreation Center at 8 a.m., where we’ll unite as a community to clean up the streets of South Central—one neighborhood at a time. Volunteers will also help clean up Gilbert Lindsay Recreation Center and the South Los Angeles Wetlands Park.
