South Central came together in full force to celebrate the expansion of the South LA Greenway with Team Price on Aug. 16. The newly extended eight-mile network now links eight parks in the District, creating more green space and greater connectivity for families across the community.
To mark the milestone, Councilman Price hosted a community walk and bike ride from South Park Recreation Center to Augustus Hawkins Nature Park, where the morning concluded with a special time capsule ceremony.
A warm thank you to all neighbors and partner organizations who joined us for a morning dedicated to connection, sustainability, and pride in CD 9.
