Economic & Workforce Development Department (EWDD) is proud to announce the JEDI Zone Microloan Program, developed in partnership with the Los Angeles Development Fund (LADF) and Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE). The initiative, originally authored by Councilmember Price, is specifically designed to support viable microenterprises and small businesses within the Jedi Zone Corridors.
The microloan offers financing ranging from $10,000 to $50,000, with a minimal closing fee, reduced interest rates, and no payments required for the first year, making it an accessible and flexible option for business owners.
Eligible businesses within the Goodyear Tract in Council District 9 may receive assistance for operational costs, including, but not limited to, inventory, equipment, working capital, and leasehold improvements.
Criteria:
***Be located within an approved JEDI Zone in the City of Los Angeles
***Have an annual revenue not exceeding $3 million and have no more than 25 employees
***Not be in a residential property; home-based businesses and PO Box address businesses are ineligible
***Must have an active Business Tax Registration Certificate (BTRC) filed with the Los Angeles Office of Finance
