On Oct. 7, Councilmember Price joined LA immigrant families, community organizations and elected officials to urge the Federal Government to establish a pathway to citizenship benefiting Dreamers, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) beneficiaries, farmworkers and essential workers. Supporters gathered at City Hall to advocate for individuals and families who continue to live in limbo and uncertainty as leaders in Washington have failed to push for comprehensive immigration reform.
“As the Biden Administration seeks to advance the Build Back Better agenda, we must seize this historic moment and ask ourselves: How can we build back better while leaving millions of people behind?” said Councilman Price. “Such inaction by Congress is standing in the way of a truly successful economic recovery for our country.”
