Dear Neighbors,
On Oct. 10, I joined Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, members of the Los Angeles City Council, along with Consul General of Israel, Israel Bachar, and Jeffrey Abrams from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), at City Hall to express our support for Israel and denounce the heinous acts of terrorism that have unfolded over the past week.
The time for silence and complacency is over. The world must unite in opposition to these acts of terrorism and raise our collective voices against them. Throughout history, the resilience and strength of the Jewish people in the face of adversity is unparalleled.
We will not tolerate the senseless violence and hatred here in Los Angeles or anywhere else in the world that threaten the peace and security of nations. We stand firmly with Israel and reaffirm our commitment to justice and the protection of human rights.
