Council President Pro Tem Price seconded a resolution in support of H.R. 8685 and S. 4787, which would provide a path to permanent status to tens of thousands of Afghans who were evacuated to the United States. Over 84,000 vulnerable Afghans were evacuated under Operation Allies Welcome, of which approximately 76,000 were transferred to the United States. To read the resolution, click here.
